November 2009:  The Artist's Magazine 26th Annual Art Competition issue on stands now

The issue of The Artist's Magazine showing the winners of this year's Annual Art Competition is on stands now.  David is honoured to have been invited to serve as the juror in the Animal/Wildlife category.

He is very familiar with the Competition, having won First Place in this category during the 2007 competition and having three of his pieces selected as finalists in 2008 ("Harpy Eagle - Talons", "Harpy Eagle - Portraits", and "Larger than Life - Turkey Vulture").

More than $25,000 in cash prizes have been awarded.  Check out the magazine to see the winners' artwork in this and other categories, as well as read the jurors' thoughts on this year's entries.
