What to Expect in David's Art Classes

The Four Steps

David believes that there are four steps in creating original art (from hardest to easiest):

3.  Painting

4.  Signature

1.  Idea

USE YOUR OWN REFERENCE and you’ll create ORIGINAL art.  YOUR ART, one of a kind art, LEGALy marketable art.  Art free of any copyright concerns, HONEST art that you can call your own.  David teaches how to gather and use reference that will help you avoid that “CLONED ART” feel.

2.  Do Your Own Drawing

David makes drawing easy.  Draw from all three sources:  imagination, 2D, and 3D.  David’s drawing methods don’t involve projecting.  Check the DVD page for David’s drawing instructional DVD.

3.  Do Your Own Painting

David will show you HOW to paint in any medium.  He will guide you without working on your piece; that way you can HONESTLY say that you did the whole painting yourself.  Check the DVD page for David's acrylics instructional DVDs.

4.  Signature

WHEN YOU FEEL YOU ARE FINISHED, you will have the confidence to sign your painting, knowing that it is YOURS, from the initial original idea right through to the final brush stroke.
