contain waterproof ink |

If dip nibs are desired, any
holder will do; plastic is the least expensive and works just as

Nibs

Hunt is a common brand and it is
inexpensive |
Brushes
 |
Any size or type of brush can be
used, but quality of brush can influence the quality of the work |
Paper
 |
Illustration board is highly
recommended (Hi-Art #79 or #27) |
Inks
 |
Waterproof and transparent (buy a
brand that has a dropper in the bottle) |

Start off with black, red, yellow
and blue |
Palette or Mixing Tray
 |
Any type with wells (or
reservoirs) that allow the ink to be held in. White is
preferred. |
